These two had the perfect, simple, intimate wedding with immediate family there to witness. The backdrop for their ceremony was the beautiful St. Johns Lutheran Church in Downtown Des Moines, Iowa with dinner and cake to follow at AJ Steakhouse. I wish nothing but the best for these two and their family. Congratulations!!
This adorable couple had a perfect sunset on this Central Iowa night for their session. They wanted to incorporate their favorite winery into their engagement session so we made it happen. The fall colors added to the beautiful backdrop and we had a wonderful time with lots of smiles and laughs. You two will have a beautiful wedding next summer and I thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day! ~Brooke
This fall country wedding in Earlham, Iowa was the perfect setting for this couple. The time they put into personalizing this barn for their wedding made a gorgeous backdrop for their beautiful day. The love they share is evident and I couldn’t be happier for the two of you!

This adorable couple chose downtown Des Moines & Gray’s Lake for their engagement session. It was a beautiful fall day, with a gorgeous sunset. The love these two have for each other is very evident, I can’t wait for their country themed wedding which will take place this spring at the North River Corn Maze. Congratulations!
There is nothing more exciting than when you find out a past wedding client’s family is going to be growing as they continue their life together. Seeing the love that they had for each other on their special day grow to include their new addition is such a joy. This sweet little girl is a perfect example of this…congratulations!
One of the most blessed parts of being a photographer is clients allowing you the privilege to document and watch their families grow along with them. It’s always exciting to see just how much their children have grown from year to year. This beautiful family is a perfect example of such. The fun times they have together is evident and it was an honor to be allowed to capture their family photographs again this year. Their country acreage in central Iowa made the perfect backdrop for their sunset session.
Miss Cecilia Sue…what a cute little one. I had the honor of photographing this sweet little girl for the first time on a beautiful summer day at Buxton Park in Indianola, Iowa. From her cute little pigtail’s, to that ornery smirk she would flash me as she attempted to hide from the camera…she was an absolute sweetheart. Thank you!
It is always an honor to watch little clients grow, but I am especially happy to be able to call this little man my nephew. His ornery grin and adorable run can bring a smile to your face every time. This little Mr. had so much fun running around this Winterset, Iowa park. I was super excited to be part of his special announcement as well!! 🙂
I got a phone call from a sweet couple who was looking for someone to photograph their wedding. They informed me it was just going to be an intimate wedding with their immediate family and that they had contacted the Madison County Chamber of Commerce as they wanted to get married at the Roseman Bridge. Many people choose to get married, engaged or just love to visit the covered bridges in Madison County, but for this couple it held a special place in their hearts. The groom’s grandmother walked back and fourth through Roseman bridge every day on her way to and from school. They felt that this would be a beautiful place to get married and they couldn’t have found a more perfect place. Congratulations Matthew and Amanda. It was an honor to be able to document that beautiful night for you and your lovely family. ~ Brooke
